It amazes me that people would do this, but some of the big name designers are actually using dog fur in their clothing lines. The worst part, the dogs are usually skinned alive (as proven by hidden camera footage) and it's often passed as "faux fur".
There is something you can do if you think this is wrong. Help pass the Dog and Cat fur prohibition act by clicking the link and then contacting your represenatives.

As a animal lover, I was horrified when I saw the video a year ago. It was simpy horrifying and something I will never forget!!
As someone who takes in many 4-legged friends, as well as someone who does not eat anything with a heart-cept for artichokes, I am simply appalled this news isnt getting more air time.
Practically everyone I know has "fake fur", and most people assume it is FAKE!
These poor animals. Its just awful!
